My PSA on the rising gas prices

Here is a handy online tool from AAA to figure the cost of traveling this summer. You put in your starting point and where you are going -- plus the make/model of your vehicle and they figure the cost based on current gas prices.

Give it a try -- pretty nifty.

We have a similar shoe for Hannah to wear --- not quite as high but same style/color.
Everything is ready for the wedding party, with the exception of jewelry for us girls. I'm on the look out for the perfect earrings and/or bracelets.

I'm going to work on the flower girl baskets this weekend, and get a couple of other projects rolling. It's all pluggin' along.

*Schools out. And this is Katie's last summer before officially becoming a "school-aged kid". Kindergarten, here she comes! I have no idea how it will feel to not have a little one anymore -- and honestly, right now, I don't want to think about it. I get so sad. ---- not sad enough to want or try for another one--- but sad. The end of an era kind of thing. A new season. Oh, gosh, I'll just stop, cause you'll have to hear about all that in August anyway.

*Looking forward to the holiday weekend. We have a little day trip planned to my mom and Leon's. Otherwise, I have plans to get a lot done and do nothing all in the same weekend. Is that possible??
