Matt and I had an impromptu date night on Saturday. To say it had been a long time is an understatement. And still he had to practically drag me out the door. I had been struggling with a headache all day, had gone to run errands, went to the UpWard Basketball Year End celebration and was ready to just be home. He is a determined fella, though, and I'm so glad we went. After a nice dinner we went to see the Other Boleyn Girl. Intense storyline, beautiful costumes. We both enjoyed it. Not the happiest of endings, but you know that already.
That Scarlett Johansson has some serious lips, let me tell ya.
And Natalie Portman, who plays Ann Boleyn, wears this necklace. I have a thing for initials, ya know and I just kept noticing it throughout the movie. Gorgeous. (see how pretty it looks on her in above pic). Quite the statement piece. I'm not sure I could pull it off with my wardrobe of comfy pants and khakis.
Just hanging out tonight, getting ready for the week. Right now it looks like it's gonna be a good one. :)
