Introducing Katie Rose as Dorothy ---
We (meaning me and Kate) went to Boo at the Zoo this morning. The rest of my family pooped out on us, but we were not deterred from our morning of fun. Yes, there are thousands of people there -- literally. And yes, it can be a looooonnnngggg wait in some of the lines for candy. But there is nothing quite like trick or treating at the Zoo. Especially when it's your favorite place to go anyway. Add in getting to dress up and get candy and you have a can't miss.
Last year was the only year we haven't gone since we have lived here and that was a weather situation... we've been in the cold October wind and the hot October sun. Fortunately today was perfect sunny, yet cool --- basically perfect.
What you have here is a Katie Rose photo spectacular. She was the only kiddo there and very excited to show off her costume. (Jonathan is dressing up for Halloween, but the lure of Sat. a.m. cartoons and staying in his pjs was just too hard to resist)

Katie Rose is a "BEAUTIFUL" Dorothy! The red shoes are so her. Glad you two ventured out and enjoyed the zoo. It does look like lots of fun, and was perfect weather. But I totally understand Jonathan and the Saturday morning-stay-at-home-in-the p.j.s. and watch cartoons.
