Settling back in at home after being gone for a week. I think we are all glad to be back, even though being with family was good. We hadn't visited since Christmas. So...it's back to the daily stuff. And focusing on getting this house finished. Finally.
Matt's on break, so we are getting the shed today, finishing the painting tomorrow. I am so ready to have this over and done with. The cabinets should be done soon. (no definite date as of this a.m.)
Thank you for all your sweet comments and most of all your prayers over the past week. The services were really beautiful and Matt did a wonderful job.
I've been making mental notes of blog-worthy thoughts, as random as they are, to post when I got back to it. Here they are:
*Butter Pecan ice cream is good for the soul...especially when it's tired and weary.
*I am seriously upset about American Idol, to the point of boycotting it. And I also feel so sorry for Sanjaya (sp?) and feel like he's being humiliated. Does he know what's going on? And if I was his mom I think I'd pull him out. Isn't he only 17??? Somebody save this boy from further ridicule.
*I've been enjoying the spring colors much more than I ever have before. The white, purple, yellow, pink. Maybe it's all we've been through the last couple of weeks, maybe it's because I'm older. But God is telling us that life is beautiful...that spring is here.
*My sis-in-law Laura is seriously the cutest pregnant woman ever. Love that baby-bump. Can't wait to have another little neice.
*I have zero baby envy. So happy for her. Not a bit does it make me go " ohhhh, a baaaabbbby. I want one of those."
*Love is in the air. And under couches. wink, wink.
*I am blessed with wonderful friendships.
*There's no place like home, even when it's a mess.
Blogger won't let me add a picture. Sorry. I'll catch ya next time.

Jiggity-jig! I'm glad you all are home. Although we some how manage to end up talking about everyday anyway. :) Take your time-I know you're anxious to be done w/ the remodel, but done wear yourself out! Love, P
Yes, spring is prettier each year. Home is always wonderful to return to, and traveling is an adventure.
I will be praying for the house remodel to be complete soooooon, as I know that will help you return to normalcy.
Take good care of yourself and all will be done in its time. Remember the famous saying, "This too shall pass."
Can't wait to spend time with you and Aunt P. Monday!!! Love you so much. Mom
So glad you made it home okay. I'm glad to hear Matt's part of the service went well. Praise the Lord for answered prayer.
I can't wait to see all of the remodeling stuff. It's been a long time coming! You all have the patience of saints!
Love you all and still praying for God's comfort for you and your family, Jacki
