Not to be ugly or anything, but I'm not in the mood for all this.
A furnace inspector came (about 4 months after the fact because of a mess up by the furnace co.) and gave us a mechanical inspection on the addition that we weren't suppose to have and thinks we may need to do this and that, which is *completely* STUPID. Not about safety or anything like that, but about making sure that we are as comfortable as possible. Man, you were here to be sure that my house doesn't blow up, not to make sure I am cozy. Rrrrrrrrrr.
I know that these inspections are for a purpose, but for gosh sakes, let's be reasonable. If my door opens to the right, and my ceiling is 8'3" and my fingernails are painted red, then they will sign off on it. Sorry for the rant, but it's better you than them, or we'll never finish this project.

Hang in there-it won't be long before you're relaxing in your new family room with the kids and cooking in your new Tuscan inspired kitchen. I know it doesn't seem like it, but the inspectors really are looking out for your best interest-now and if you ever try to sell your house. Finding issues then is even worse-trust me on that one. Try to focus on all the progress made thus far and the fruits of your diligence and hard work. Hang tough! :)
Keep the faith, my child! This too shall pass, and it WILL all be worth it! Love you LOTS!

P.S. You know any time you need to vent--I am here. :-)
