To Grandma's house we go. The kids are off tomorrow and we are spending the day at my mom and Leon's house in Salem, IL. We love it there. Out in the country, where they can play outside, get crazy dirty and explore. I love it because that's where my mom is. I've been missing her and am looking forward to spending the day together.
We'll be going to visit Matt's mom in DuQuoin on Saturday to celebrate family birthday's. So lots of family time this weekend. The making of sweet memories.
The latest drama at our house is with Kate and Jonathan. She's determined he is going to marry her. He doesn't always play along. So, the other day, Kate was helping me make a pitcher of juice, stirring it round and round. When we were done, she sighed and said, "Maybe NOW Bubby will marry me!"... She knows at 3 yrs. old that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. And her juice making skills were going to nab her a husband. I agree that he is a catch, but just not for her. I am sure that there are many more fish in the sea for Katie Rose!

Kate just makes me smile from the inside out! Enjoy the day at your mom's-I know it will be wonderful!
Yes, "Grandma" is looking forward to seeing her grandbabies too! Hoping to make many wonderful memories. And it is always a joy to be with Tammy. How I could have been so blessed to have her for a daughter, only the Lord knows. She is my "baby girl", my "good friend" and "my pride and joy". Can't wait for to spend the day together--that's what families are for.
Our Katie is so special as is her big sister and big brother. Someday I hope she marries a man who will be as wonderful as her big brother is going to be for some special young woman. We will look at these pictures years from now and they will bring such smiles to our faces!!!! Aunt Linda
