Red Lead and re-grouping

This is one of my favorite stores! http://www.redleadstl.com/store.htm

Unfortunately, I don't get to it as often as I like, but that may be a good thing, because if you love artsy stuff, it's a little piece of heaven. And it's hard to not come out of there with way more than you intended to spend.

It has a great selection of paper, stamps, collage materials, glitter (yummy) and you go in and **want to create***!

Just wanting to share a little inspiration! Check out their blog and classes and demos. Cool couple of ladies who run an awesome little store!

On another topic:

Life is just busy. Even when you decide to "scale back" and "simplify", it's hard to have time to relax and just be. We've got volleyball going on for Hannah (plus violin) , cross country for Jonathan (ends on Fri.), church activities, my bible study commitment, Matt's work, etc. etc.

And what's funny is that WE aren't as involved in as many activities as a lot of families. How are you suppose to keep up with it all? It can definitely be hard.

Thanks for letting me vent a little. It's all about priorities and balance. Putting God first, family second and letting the rest fall into place. I know it will all be O.K. It's nice to be able to just put it "out there" and move on from the stress.

Someone (Kelli Crowe, I think) says that every blog entry needs a picture. Here's one from last fall that I just love!

Ahh yes! Families do take a lot of work, but oh the rewards! You are doing a tremendous job, look at those beautiful faces on this blog--everything else falls into place. Vent all you need, and know you are loved. And I agee, every posting does need a picture, keep them coming. Your greatest admirer, your Mom.

You and Matt are doing a wonderful job of raising three beautiful, well adjusted and loving children who are a blessing to be around. Yes, it is work - but what rewards! If your mom is your greatest admirer, I'm your second greatest! Love you. Aunt Linda
