Some of our silly eggs this year. We loved these face stickers and I bought some Q-tip like color things that you can use to write with...they worked well and the kids liked them. I couldn't choose between the next 2 photos....just love them both so much. Can you tell that somebody was super excited about getting to be 'Creative'????

Jon Carter or "John" as he wants to be called now (that's another post) decorating his egg. That's right, he only did one. "Can I be done now?" was his request. He had much bigger and better things to do....all of which included a ballgame of some sort.

I have a few other Easter photos of the kids all dressed and ready for the day but none that knock my socks off.

The Easter photos are a little late, and I can't really recreate the day at this point, but we had a wonderful, quiet, simple Easter. Thankful for the Amazing Love...that my God would die for Me. And even more thankful for the Hope that we have in our Living Lord.

We have a pretty regular week ahead. Jonathan is still in track practice and baseball practice...first track meet this weekend. Hannah is knee deep in school. Lots of homework and 40 hour projects are getting ready to be due. Remember last year's dress making?? This year Hannah and her best friend Kaitlin are researching the Flappers from the 20's. (yes, they both have to put in 40 hours) Part of their presentation is dancing a routine dressed as Flappers. They have been working hard, but time is ticking away and still lots to do....how many more of these do we have to do?? 3 for Hannah and 5 for Jonathan... oh boy.   I am, actually, very proud of the super hard work that she puts in and I know this one will be a show-stopper:)

I'm slowly getting the blog back into some sort of order...I did most of it by html editing in the template, which is a whole other animal, so it's been a little slow going. I'm not sure if I love it or not, but it is what it is for now. Definitely a work in progress!

Loved the pics of the egg coloring. Your pics of the family on Easter might not "knock your socks off" . . . but I bet the rest of us would enjoy seeing them. You and your family are loved so much!!!!!! Aunt Linda

I could feel the enthusiasim of Kate and see "John's" mind-on-ballgame-thoughts in the pictures. I don't know if I will ever translate Jonathan into John, but I will try if it is important to him. He is a sweetheart. It does sound busy around your house, as the school year winds down. Where did this year go???? I would love to see the flappers dance. It will be a show-stopper, I know. Glad to have you back on the blog. Love and miss you! Mom

If that new horse could talk it would say..."Why haven't you posted a picture of me yet?"
