<<--- I love sleepy eyed pictures. My sweet and sassy 6 yr. old...
A few of my favorites from Kate's birthday on Monday. The Big 6... Mom and Leon came over to go to Chuck-E-Cheese with us, which shows what *awesome* grandparents they are. It was actually not too bad, and for a while there were very few people there. We had a lot of fun playing skee ball or "bowling" as Kate calls it. And her sister and brother loaded her up with tickets and she ended the night with 1000, which got her a new gum ball machine:)
We came home for presents and cake and Kate summed up her day saying in her most serious voice, "This is the best day of my life."
Don't you wish that life was that simple? Pizza, games, Grandma and Grandpa, cake... perfect day when you are 6.
I love my sweet Katie Rose so very very much. Her personality is hard to put into words... she loves being the boss, loves being the baby...she is outgoing and chatty (won't be quiet is more like it)... she loves to be creative and sometimes proclaims "I NEED to do something Creative!"... she is a momma's girl and a complete combo of prissy girl and tomboy.... she can hit a baseball over our backyard fence... she loves Jesus with all her heart and asks a lot of hard to answer spiritual questions... she is sweet, caring, tender, loud, funny, smart, demanding and I can't imagine my life or our family without her.
These are all SOCC, no processing -- I'm still in computer transition and don't have an editing program on here yet. Little by little I'm getting organized...it's really like moving into a new home. You have to decide what to take and how to organize it when you unpack. Not a ton of fun, but nice when you get it done.

Oh I love our 6 year old! We had a wonderful time at the celebration, and it recalled the trips to Missouri Baptist (where babies come from!) 6 years ago, 10 years ago, and 13 years ago! Thanks for sharing the pictures. They all came through on my computer except the last one and it would not open. Can't wait to do some more celebrating with my baby girl this week. Let see, 6 x 6 =36+1. And my love for her grows each day. We are getting ready for the big "sleep-over" with the children, so much fun and memories to be made. Love, Mom
Loved the pics of Katie's birthday party. She is a special, special little girl who is a blessing to all of us!!! Can't wait for the big birthday party this coming weekend. Love you all. Aunt Linda
