Tick-tock goes the clock

Hannah's first *big* event -- the winter formal -- she was soooo looking forward to this and I'm glad that it didn't fall short of her expectations, as these things often do. We get so wound up about the "getting-ready" that the actual event is quite a dissapointment. But she had a fabulous time. They had a few guys from the school that have a band that played along with DJ'd music. From everything she said, it was all perfect.
She looked so pretty and while it was so fun to help her, it was incredibly depressing -- in that this-can't-be-happening kind of way -- Because she's my baby and it's going way, way, way too fast for me. In a week and a half she'll be a teenager. Holy Guacamole.
I'm so proud of her I could burst. Kind, sweet, smart, funny. Beautiful inside and out.

<<--- a hair-do closeup. She counted 44 bobby pins when she took it down. The girl has some seriously thick hair. She was dedicated to the idea of having it curly -- And I think what she had envisioned looked perfect.

I'll be back super soon with some snow day pictures. I thought this was a post all it's own. Ain't she purty???

Hannah, you look gorgeous in these photos! I feel the same as your mom does --- where has the time gone? Stop growing up, will ya? I also agree -- you're beautiful inside and out. Love, Jacki

Wow, what a pretty princess you are, Hannah! No wonder "Dad" wanted to hear the band! I am glad you had a great time, and you certainly were the picture of "An evening in Paris"---Tammy, great shots of our little girl, growing up oh, so fast. But in a beautiful way. Thank you for sharing. The hair do was the perfect pick for the dress and evening. Love you all.
