An actual new post -- don't click the back button!!!

I've been gone so long it's embarrassing, so I won't waste your time with excuses. I hope there are still a few of you still checking despite my blog-slackerness. I really stink. How about we just jump right in where we are ---

which is:
on the verge of Halloween. Camo and red glitter. That's what we are all about this year.

I had a busy weekend taking some pictures back home. Such a cool day: first spend time with the super-cute, almost 2 Logan and then the rest of the day at the birthday party of the lovely Mrs. Alice Glass, 100 years young. I was struck with fact that 98 years separate those 2 lives. One has so much to see and learn, the other has lived more than most. Both were full of smiles and love life. Here are a couple of pics from Saturday:

Isn't he the cutest?? So fun and full of energy.

(she got a little teary during "Happy Birthday" with all her great-grandkids all around -- so sweet)

So, that was last weekend. The rest of the weeks that I have missed on here were not-too-eventful blurs. Volleyball has just ended for Hannah, so right now at this minute we are sport-less. I'm still adjusting to my new job, but it is going well. Other than I'm tired and completely behind on everything else. Jonathan and I took turns with a stomach bug a while back. Thankfully the bug stopped there. Ben is sweet. He loves to play with his slipper and moose. Shakes them around and gets stuffing everywhere. No one notices because everything is a mess because as I said before, I'm behind on everything.
Aside from the normal daily schtuff, all is well over here.

Beautiful pictures, Tammy! I know their families will cherish these for years to come. I know you enjoyed sharing the moments with them, and you are right, it was quite a range--98 years. I am glad you got back to the blog, I have missed it. Love you lots. Mom
