Sarah Isabella

just hours old.

Back home after a trip to our hometown last week. The kids had a great time, enjoyed swimming and golf clinic and being with family. The timing couldn't have been more perfect, as we were there when our niece, Sarah Isabella was born. She's just perfect, weighs a teeny bit over 7 lbs. and she and her mama are doing well. Such a miracle. Isn't it amazing how life can change in an instant?? Now there is a brand new little life in our family. It was a blessing to get to spend some time with them when they came home from the hospital. We would have been in Italy if our trip hadn't been rescheduled. We are leaving a week from Monday. So I have this week to get it all together. I've set the goal of being completely ready by Saturday so that I can have that day to do something fun with the kids before I take them to my mom's on Sunday. I've made the "Grand Master List" and hope it keeps me sane the next few days. No doubt that it will rewritten many times as my days dwindle and time runs out.

I think I am finally believing the reality of us going to Italy. When I read about Pompeii or Sienna's piazza my heart starts beating faster. When I see pictures of Tuscany I am amazed that we'll be there in a week and a half. When I think of driving away after dropping the kids I get sick to my stomach. Yep, it's really happening.

I've got lots to catch up on around here and a ball game to go to this afternoon, so I'll check in later... Blessings,
Tam

Sarah Isabella is precious---I'm so glad that the timing was so you could be there and meet her within hours. Yes, life changes fast, and there is so much to be lived. I love your quote of the day---it is very true, one should take the opportunity to dance, travel, laugh and sing on life's journey. I am so happy for you and Matt that you get to make this trip to Italy together---"Happy Anniversary"--God just keeps on blessing! The kids will make some memories here with Grandpa and Grandma, and we too will have tales to tell when you get back. All of our lives will be enriched. You and your family are more of a blessing to me than words can express. Love you bunches, Mom
