Stop what you are doing right now. Look down at your lap. What are you wearing? Well, according to Katie, if it is not a twirly skirt, it is NOT BEAUTIFUL. Sorry.
That's the stage we are in... she (being Kate) must be in a constant state of beauty. It is vital to her day's happiness. Say by chance, there are no skirts/dresses to wear and she has to wear pants (gasp!) her beauty is destroyed. This lead to throwing herself on her bed in despair, crying out tears of anguish because of the horrid pants. So I can safely call this spring/summer season --- "The Summer of the Twirly Skirt".
I don't know about you but I'm in heaven with this great weather. Kate and I have been out all morning, blowing bubbles, having lunch, playing ball. I hear the birds, feel the breeze, swing on the swing and don't even remember the ugly winter anymore. I've got my dry white feet in flip-flops (bet your glad there's no pic post of that!) And my toes are happy :) A Good, Good day.
The only complaint I have is the time change and the exhaustion it is bringing on my household. Everyone is tired and off schedule. Can't get to bed at a reasonable time, can't get up either. Hopefully that will correct itself soon.
Along with spring comes one of our family's favorite sports: Baseball. Jonathan's baseball season starts tonight with his first practice. We're happy that Jonathan was allowed to move up with Coach Dale. He'll be playing with boys up to 10yrs. old, in the next league up, but it will be a good challenge for him and we really like Coach Dale and wanted to keep him with him if possible. He's got a good balance of hard work and fun. Wants the boys to play hard, but also knows it's not MLB. He's encouraging and positive. We've seen and heard about many coaches who are the opposite of this, so I'm happy to have Jonathan with him.
Yep, baseball, flip-flops, bubbles, daylight after supper, open windows. It's Spring. Doesn't it feel good???

Wish I had been there with the two of you to wiggle my naked toes in the warm air. Kate's Target purchase looks good on her feet! Glad you both are having a good day. Love you. Aunt Linda
Hooray for Spring!
You have once again done an amazing job on your photos!!! I love the rose bush (pink roses in the making) and Kate's twinkly sandals are the perfect match for her "twirly skirt summer".
I love this weather too--springtime is my favorite time of year. Keep posting! I sure look forward to all you share.
Love, Mom
