Randomness (with pictures)

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr---

It is flippin' cold outside. Yes, I know, it's February but still. I was all happy about staying home today, then I realized I have a meeting at church and Hannah's cheering at a ball game afterschool. I'm completely out of it schedule wise, I guess. Anyhoo - looks like we're going out in it. Fun.

Then to add insult to injury, the people at Target think it's July and we all want to buy summer stuff. I mean, come on people, it's 10 degrees, I don't want to buy a swimsuit or sundress. I was very irritated by the time I left. I silently revolted by *not* buying this adorable polka-dotted sundress for Katie. It'll probably be gone when it's time to actually buy summer clothes, but I made my statement. :P I'm sure in July when it's 100 degrees andwhen I'm looking for a tank top or two they'll have all the cozy sweaters out. Grrrrr.

I've got a fun package on the way. Adobe Photoshop Elements 5. Yippeee! I got a *great* deal on ebay and hadn't used any of my Christmas $$ yet. I figured if I can't afford the camera I'm drooling over right now, I can practice some photo editing while I save up. I've fallen more and more in love with photography and find myself wanting to learn everything I can about it. We'll see where that leads, but for now, I can't wait for Mr. Mailman to bring me my software.
<<<---that's me looking glam :)

Let's see, what else? Oh! It is less than 2 weeks (12 days to be exact) until Matt and I go to Bloomington, Il to see the fab John Mayer in concert. It's a double date with Amy and her (ahem....boyfriend) Doug. Tickets were a suprise Christmas gift from Amy and Aunt Linda and Uncle Bob. It'll be a good getaway for us. Mom and Leon are sweet and coming to stay the night with the chillens' . I can not wait!!!!

Lots of other completely random thoughts this a.m. but I won't bore you. Here's some pictures for your enjoyment.

These summer photos are here in honor of all the retail stores that are reminding us that it is NOT summer, but that it's on it's way. Only 4 more months til June.
I have a bunch of these with Kate running in Gma Sarah's yard in her swim suit and piggy tails. I love them! Carefree, summer days when you're little. Ahhhh.

Winter is soon going to be sent on it's way by "Spring"---Oh, how I love the thought! It was a summer moment seeing the kids in the water. Thanks for sharing. Hope your day was productive, and you have settled into your cozy house by now. We are looking forward to spending time with our grandkids, and letting you enjoy some adult time. You will have lots of fun with Adobe when it arrives, but it may make you set you sights on that new SLR. One thing/toy at a time, that way you still have something to look forward to.
Keep the postings coming, I sure do enjoy them. Love, Mom
