We, my friends, may have witnessed a true miracle. A Healing of sorts. My sweet Kinoka Minolta DiMage Z2 is working again. I don't know how or why, but out of desperation and camera withdrawal I got it out to take pictures of Katie Rose working with Clay. I honestly didn't think they would be any good. I didn't expect much, just needed to feel the camera in my hands once again. See the world thru the viewfinder. I thought, "why not? why not take few?"
And like she'd never been broken, she ZOOMED. She snapped. She took picture after picture with out making those grinding sounds.
Now, I'm not sure that she's all better. I'm still a little tentative even to post about it, because the quality is still in question, but the function is there! I'm gonna give her some time to recoup, start her out with baby steps, a few pics here and there and see how it goes. If this camera has been fixed, it is an act of God. And I'm not kidding. I was looking at a pretty hefty repair bill, but she's worth it, so I had her in the van ready to go get fixed. Now, when I turn it off, the lens goes right back where it's suppose to instead of in and out, in and out, like it's having a freak out about what to do. So, I'm so, so, so, so excited! Praise the Lord!
So without further adieu, pics 4 U:
More good news: the big pile of Sanford & Son trash is gone from the front of my house.
Our weekend is about basketball and primer. Hannah's cheering at a game tonight and Jonathan has his first game tomorrow. If the weather doesn't go crazy on us, we should be ready to prime and paint tomorrow afternoon. Slowly but surely, right?
I'm excited to start posting a little more about scrapbooking and creativity. It's a big part of my life that has been pushed aside lately. Even though things are still busy, I've got to find some time to do that. I spent some time scrapbooking with Patti last weekend and it really got my juices flowing again, so I'm hoping to share some of that with you.

Hallelujah! Hallelujah! (sans the Messiah) Don't forget to post the way cool layout of yourself you did last weekend-I love it!
Looks like Katie is learning a trade at age 3--she is a good helper. I love the pictures and am thankful for your "miracle" camera! Praise the Lord! Keep the posts coming. Love, Mom
