Random Good Things....

*Gingerbread Latte at Starbucks --- yum, yum, yum. Good to the last drop.

*Christmas in St. Charles --- Carolers, Father Christmas, lights, cold weather, hot chocolate - one of my very favorite traditions

*the sound of a hammer and drill --- means that we are a little closer everyday to having more room for our family. Bless that man's heart for working in the freezing cold.

*Saw a little sign in a shop last night that said "Dare to Let Go"... needless to say, I'm working on that one. This Christmas is definitely one of prioritizing.

*Journey to Bethlehem on Sunday night with Amy --- this will be Kate's first time where she really understands what's going on. I can't wait to see how see reacts to baby Jesus.

*Hannah had her first basketball game to cheer at. They were so nervous at first. Hope hasn't had a cheerleading squad for a long time and the other team didn't have cheerleaders, so they weren't really sure what to do at first. But it didn't take too long and they got into it. It was so fun to watch them. We have to expand our cheer list a little, though, because the same 10 cheers over and over can get , well, you know...

*Finishing (well, kinda) my Christmas shopping today with Amy, Aunt Linda and Uncle Bob. At least that's the plan. Any of you that are already done and have it all wrapped are stressing me out!!! (just kidding)

*picking out paint for the bedrooms that are suppose to be cleaned out and painted before the 23rd. Do you think Santa has any elves to spare right about now??

In answer to your last question, yes! And his name is John Koch! Just kidding-kinda. Love you! So envious of your weekend with family huddled close. Enjoy!

Yes the Holidays are in full swing--glad you are balancing the activities. Love the cheerleaders--they are a cute squad--only yesterday it was you in that picture!:-) Guess "Little Drummer Boy" is being played on the Hammers this year, huh? It is the sound of a whole new space, and I know it is music to your ears.
I believe there are some elves that can help with painting, etc. if you can pick out a time.
Enjoy each day, your on your way to a degree in "organization."
Love you LOTS! Mom
