yes, I'm still a blogger

I know I need to give a complete update on all the goings on... here it goes:
We had a great Thanksgiving. Went up to my Aunt Patty and Uncle Joes house in Springfield, IL. Fun times looking at catalogs, making lists, eating yummy T'giving food. Then ending the day with a big round of Dance Revolution, during which my husband hurt his back getting down and funky. (Sorry no real pics of that, just make a mental one.)

Then traveled to So. Ill. for the rest of the weekend. Spent some good time with all of our family, took the kids to see Happy Feet. Amy and I held everyone hostage for family game night to play Taboo. Sunday visited with Matt's mom and Mike for lunch. It was so good to spend time with family all weekend. We are so blessed to have so many people to love, and have so many people love us.

Yes, it keeps going. . . . . . Mom and I did our annual Christmas shopping marathon on Monday. Holy, Moly. 14 hours is a loooonnnnggggg time to pound the pavement. But it flew by and we had so much fun together. By the end of the day (10:30p.m) we were walking around Wal-mart singing and dancing in slap-happy exhaustion. It couldn't have been a better day. Love my mom so much!

Now, the week is ticking by. Still working on getting the remodeling started, getting the Christmas tree up and prepping for my Ali Edwards classes on Sat. That is probably the MOST AWESOME thing EVER to look forward to. She is my favorite "life artist", scrapbooker, author. I'm so looking forward to learning from her.

That is a huge post, dear friends. If you kept reading, that is a sure sign that either you love me and know all that already , or are really, really addicted to blogs. Either way, thanks for checking in. And now for some pictures:
Everything's on sale, but you can't buy love like this!^^^^
Thankful for cousins! Jonathan and Hannah with Grandpa Mike riding "DuQuoin" the llama

Yes, it was a great Thanksgiving---I love the pictures of everyone, making memories. I knew you would return to the blog, as soon as life slowed down a moment. It is a wonderful way to keep in touch, keep on posting when time allows!
Have a fun scrapbooking week-end--smile, more pictures for your post! I'll be checking your site. Thanks for the marathon on Monday---it was a treat for me, to spend the time with you and all your family. Makes me feel warm all over as I recall all the conversations with the grandkids. Love you lots! Mom
