I had this great blog all typed out, with adorable pics and then messed it up and now it's gone. I have in the meantime lost my 'spark' of creative writing and totally forgot all I said. So, this is what you are getting. A do-over. But, winner's never quit and quitter's never win. So I'm working on being a winner.
This week has been good, fairly routine. If you know me, and if you are reading this, you probably do, you know how much I *love* routine. Not much news from the Heckel household. Just a daily report from the kids on how many kids in their classes got on "red" and names on the board and who called who what. Kate's been enjoying new playdough. Matt's been giving mid-terms, so a lot of grading is coming up.
I've set a lot of little goals for today, in hopes to get a lot done around the house so the weekend is more fun. We need to get pumpkins and stuff like that. This is the part of fall I really love. The colors, the cool (yet not cold...brrrr) weather, carving the pumpkins, roasting the seeds. So fun.
I'll end with a couple of pictures from our fun last weekend. We went to the farm of a friend of Grandpa Leon's. He had horses, pigs and the biggest hit, kittens. So sweet!
